HOW TO INFLATE A BASKETBALL

You may receive your ball deflated, so you will need a pump or compressor with a specific needle to inflate it properly. To check the air pressure, drop the ball from a height of 1.80 m (6 ft) onto a wooden floor until it bounces between 1.20 and 1.40 m (4 ft and 4 ft). Inflate your balls regularly.

• Tip: When buying a ball, try putting a little oil on the valve. The oil will help keep the air in the ball while also making it easier to insert the needle to inflate it.
