A polyurethane midsole has a visible Air-Sole ® unit for comfort, while the herringbone-pattern outsole provides maximum traction and represent the Jordan brand equity.

The new Jordan Flight 23 RST has a funky, grommets on the forefoot (first seen in the Jordan SC-1) with a single mesh panel on top for the purpose of weight reduction which serves a similar function compensation in the Air Jordan IV.

The technology of visible air chamber gives these a good cushioning and comfort in the game, with a different heel design and bold giving this shoe a different character.
